Caring for your piece
Sterling silver. Silver darkens with air over time. Store it in its box or a small zip bag when you're not wearing it. A soft polishing cloth brings the shine back. Skip silver dips; they can dull the stone.
Copper. Copper darkens to a deeper brown as you wear it, and some people like that. A polishing cloth brightens it. Copper can leave a faint green mark on skin. It washes off with soap and water and does no harm.
The stone. Each stone is cut and polished by hand. Take your piece off before swimming, showering, cleaning or putting on lotion. Wipe the stone with a soft damp cloth and dry it. No ultrasonic or harsh cleaners. Stone can chip, so keep it away from hard knocks.
